Property Listing Flyers
a template
challenge...
Design a master e-mailable Property Listing flyer that ties into the newly redesigned CBM web site (see entry in this portfolio). Must allow for variations in content. Attribute code the resulting html template for speedy layperson implementation of weekly ads via bronto.com, online e-mail list management and marketing software to which the client subscribes.
solution... Pixel Relish felt it important to not only advertise the property being highlighted but also the client's web site and professional services. As for the listing itself, we used size, color, placement and opacity to guide the eye through the property's information. Hence, for instance, the soft, monochromatic "Tenants Include" logos that go down the far right column, offering pertinent information but without throwing it in your face; the screened map; and the bold arrow that directs the eye from the look-here-first photo straight to the contact information. For implementation via bronto.com, we created a question-and-answer form that makes new ads easy to create; no html knowledge is required. Our master graphics files make those items easy to replicate.

Welcome Flyer
challenge... Provide the client with an attractive yet easily distributed "hand-out" for the client's clients to disseminate to company employees welcoming them to their company's new online 401k plan and providing getting-started instructions.
solution... Create an html flyer; link to a similar PDF. Prepare the html flyer for use via Web or e-mail (the client has chosen to do both): the Web version allows clients to send their employees a plain-text e-mail with a link to the Welcome page, whereas the e-mail version enables them to send the html page within the e-mail; link both to a PDF version that prints nicely onto a single legal-sized sheet of paper. As for the flyer itself, convey both the getting started information and the online plan's convenience and flexibility. Use the signature money-trucks-through-space, a Pixel Relish creation from elements of stock art, and a screen shot for product recognition.
FYI, Pixel Relish also designed the look of the online application pictured in the screenshot. To view that system, go to 401k-easy-online.com and click on the Demo link.

MASS E-MAIL...
Season's Greetings
challenge...
Create in one day a holiday greeting to send to clients and friends.
solution...
Add to existing artwork (the lady, cat, blank computer, curtains and open window) holiday features (flying reindeer, glowing lights, nightscape, computer message). Create a wood frame; carve into it a holiday message. Cut up the artwork for better receipt via e-mail; tag each image piece with a piece of an additional holiday message to give recipients something to read while the images load. Put a link to a Web version for those viewing in text-only mode. Put a text message at the end.

E-MAIL & WEB AD..
Product Comparison "Sheet"
challenge... Highlight the key similarities and differences among the client's three 401k products: online self-service administration and participation, desktop administration software, and online full-service administration with self-service participation. Page should be usable both as an e-mail ad and a Web page to which people go when moving from one to another of the related marketing sites.
solution...
Lead with the "How do you prefer your 401k?" question, giving possible answers 1, 2 and 3. Use formatted text (not graphics) for the features lists for immediate loading and visibility in all situations. Include home page thumbnails for a visual (and actual) links. Stress the primary marketing points: affordability, investment flexibility, ease of use.

E-MAIL AD...
Financial Planning
challenge... Create an e-mail ad for two of the client's 401k products. Target small business owners. Highlight investment possibilities. Link to the marketing sites.
solution... The primary reason small business owners cite for not offering a 401k plan is cost; poor customer service/that big businesses get all the attention, meager investment flexibility and rigid plan design make the list, too. We wanted to immediately disassociate the client's offerings from these well-founded stereotypes. Hence, no smiling faces/"banking" photography, no "investment house" stodginess. Instead, we made everything open and friendly, intimating how easy it will be for company's to use either of the client's products to process their 401k themselves and thereby save thousands of dollars a year in comparison to traditional plan administration services.
