Design an appetizing cover. Create the interior pages from a single mock-up that needed a fair amount of refining. Copy edit. Typeset.

solution...
For the cover, color -- rich, mouth-watering color. Add a wave of black, gild a pleasing script font in gold, stroke for legibility, and voila... festive elegance. For the interior, facilitate stop and go reading with effective use of white space, breaks, font faces and sizes. Undersize pages slightly to allow for cost-effective use of page bleeds.

COLLATERAL MATERIALS...

Create a text logo for Prescient, then, using only black and white (reserve color for product line logos), create a series of branding items, a few of which are shown at right (more of which are shown later in this portfolio). Prepare some items for professional printing, others for desktop printing.

solution...
For the logo, take the mildly calligraphic yet modern font, Lydian MT; accent the "t" with a hand-drawn swoosh. For branding items, a very clean look within which product samples can do the shining; the lower left item at right, for example, houses paint chip (architectural finishes) samples. Sans serif type coupled with ample white space makes information easy to read.
